Yeah, we used to be much more strict on what was submitted in the scan gallery, but then the scan mods toned it down a
bit.
Personally, I think a filtered option sounds good. I'll pass this on to the other mods =)

There was no signature and no description and 99.9% of the time, that means it's ripped. I suggest adding a signature (a must-have here at MT on all wallpapers) and you'll also need a proper description (how you made it, how long it took, how many layers, etc etc).

It's still pixelated D: Did you try saving it at a higher quality? Maybe it's the text? Did you rasterize the text layer or something?

The scan looks clean enough, but the background doesn't suit her at all. Why not have her standing in from of a window or door with a lightsource behind her or something?

It was deleted because some parts (particularly around the text) were pixelated. It happens sometimes with the color red (for some reason, the internet hates red).
Try saving it at a higher quality, upload it on ImageShack (or whatever) and post the link here. If the quality looks better, I'll restore the deleted wallpaper and you can just update it with the newer version =) -

There are some parts even with the outer glow (which I strongly recommend you get rid of) that you can see some white bits (around the hair and clothing).

To all members:
I was looking through my groups and, to my dismay, I found that the group is now only a place for members to post their newest wallpapers (and they rarely do).
So I'm looking for new admins/moderators to take over, add new members, make up some contests/challenges etc etc to get the group back on it's feet.
Note: Please only volunteer if you plan to be active.

It isn't a bug, it was deleted because it was low quality. Poor extraction was the main problem.
It will not be restored because of the extraction.

If the background is low-quality or enlarged, it gets deleted. Period. MT is striving to be one of the rare sites that has high quality anime wallpapers and indy art.
If you feel something does not meet the standards mentioned in the Policy, feel free to use the report button. (Please note that you should only report something if it is indeed low quality, not based on whether you personally like it or not). -
None of your wallpapers had any description or signature. Also, most were low-quality (over-filtered, screenshots, etc). Therefore, they will not be put back into the gallery.

There's a difference. It was vectored.
Anyway, it's wallpaper sized, which means it's a wallpaper, not a scan. You cannot submit wallpapers you did not make. You also cannot submit wallpapers as scans. -
Ghosting (taking a scan and enlarging and then lowering the opacity) is not allowed. The scan was poorly extracted and the background is low quality.

Whoa, never noticed this thread, sorry.
Anyway, whether it's an HD screenshot or whatever, the fact remains that it's a screenshot and screenshots and not allowed. We can totally tell when it's a screenshot, there's a certain quality about it. And if it's noticeable, that ain't good.So no, it won't be restored.
